Purchasing Solutions International, Inc (PSI) is a full-service provider of sourcing, budgeting, purchasing, warehousing and installation coordination for hospitality, healthcare and other developments. While procurement is the main focus, PSI is initially hired by many clients in an advisory role. This allows the opportunity to provide clients with numerous cost-saving options throughout a project’s various development stages.

With experience in working with clients and their architects and general contractors, PSI has found that a number of areas of a development tend to be deemed not important to the initial design and development stages.

Our services are offered to the contract industry on a fixed-fee basis or customized to meet the needs of your project with either a percentage fee or fixed-fee plus realized savings compensation. Our goal is to complete every project with the design integrity that you develop or desire. Our knowledge of the unique requirements of the hospitality industry, assists us and you in making sure that your design ideas meet all applicable codes and bulletins.

Not only do we provide you with the options for your individual projects, but we work with numerous manufacturers and fabricators to develop furnishings that meet your design needs and budget requirements. As many developers and owners of hotel, resort and other facilities move into more renovation and addition projects, we work with each player in the project to assist the architects, lighting consultants, contractors and designers in developing the complete scope of the project. We feel that the development and design teams will appreciate our approach to the process while remaining conscious of budget limitations and the anticipated guest experience.

At Purchasing Solutions International, Inc., our first step is to work with the project management team to fully develop and understand the scope of your intentions. Upon completion of this aspect of your project, we work with all subcontractors and decorators to develop a comprehensive FF&E and OS&E budget. Once the initial budget is delivered to you for review and approval, any additions, deletions and modifications are taken into consideration and a revised budget is developed for your review and approval. Upon final approval, we will process all purchase orders on your behalf. Our experience provides us with the knowledge of expected delivery times and allows us to anticipate any delays that may be incurred on the project at the onset rather than after the fact.

Numerous reports are provided to the ownership, design and development teams to show timeline progress of the project and its numerous tasks. This includes delivery dates, payment due dates, installation dates and completion dates. These reports can also be issued to include such unique items as hard-wired fixture weights, mounting types, lamping and floor covering construction, content, widths, repeat information. These reports can be provided on a weekly, bi-monthly or monthly basis, depending on your project’s needs.

PSI maintains an extensive library of carpeting, fabrics, seating and upholstery, casegoods, lighting, art/accessories and other facets of most hotel and resort properties. With our awareness of these important items that need to be addressed during the architectural design and interior design phases, PSI is able to provide clients with pertinent information and costs for their evaluation and budgeting purposes early on in a project rather than after numerous reviews and value engineering exercises. PSI works creatively to fulfill each project’s specific needs.
